MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin men's soccer will play two consecutive homes games within four days of each other during this weekend's homecoming. The first comes Friday, Oct. 6 against the No. 23 Michigan State Spartans, before the Badgers go back to their non-conference schedule for a game with the Bradley Braves on Monday, Oct. 9.

1 – Rambo: First Goal – Down 1-0 in the second half against Michigan, Thomas Raimbault scored the game-tying goal redirecting a feed from Birgir Baldvinsson. The goal was the first of the season for Raimbault, and his first for the Badgers as well. The sophomore scored one goal last season for the UCLA Bruins.

2 – Another Point for Baldvinsson – Birgir Baldvinsson delivered a perfect pass to Raimbault for the Badgers lone goal against Michigan. It was his first assist of the season and his third point in three games. Baldvinsson previously scored against Northwestern and took a shot against Maryland that resulted in a score but did not pick up an assist.

3 – Spartan Scouting – Michigan State has established itself as one of the top dogs of the conference, with a 5-0-4 (1-0-2) record and a current national ranking of 23. The Spartans have accomplished this through a stout defense. Keeper Zac Kelly is second in the conference in both saves and save percentage. UW currently leads the all-time series against Michigan State 23-14-7 but looks for its first win in the series since 2018.

4 – Beware the Braves – Bradley boasts the same record as Wisconsin at 4-2-4, and are notably better away, 4-1, than at home 0-1-4. Junior defender, Charlie Dickerson, is a leader for the team, who allowed just four goals in their teams first seven games. Dickerson has started all nine games for the Braves and leads the team in minutes played (768). This marks the first meeting between the schools since the teams played a scoreless draw in 2018. UW boasts an all-time record of 4-0-1 against the Braves.

5 – Alumni and Greek Night – Friday night's match against Michigan State is both Alumni and Greek Night for the Badgers. Wisconsin men's soccer alumni members will be recognized on field during half time. UW-Madison fraternities and sororities with the largest attendance to the game will win a signed ball as well as a free photoshoot.

Extra Time – Both games will be streamed on the B1G+ app as well as bigtenplus.com. Live updates can be found on the @BadgerMSoccer X page – formerly twitter, as well as @badgermsoccer on Instagram.

Kickoff on Friday is set for 7 p.m. CT.
Monday's game will begin at 6 p.m. CT.

As always, admission to McClimon Soccer Complex is free for all.
