MADISON, Wis.
– The Wisconsin women's basketball team released its non-conference schedule for the 2023-24 season. The Badgers face four 20-plus win teams as well as five teams that competed in post-season play in 2023. Fans will have seven chances to catch UW at home in the Kohl Center during non-conference season, including six regular-season contests.

"I am excited to announce our 2023-24 non-conference slate," said head coach Marisa Moseley. "We have put together an exciting and competitive schedule, including five teams who participated in the post-season last year. Highlighted by our travels to Kansas State and Ft. Myers in November, these games will prepare us for a great Big Ten season. Last year our fans were terrific and we cannot wait to see the energy in the Kohl Center again this season! This is a team you are going to want to see in person!"

The Badgers open their season with an exhibition against UW-Whitewater on Oct. 29. The Warhawks were 23-7 in 2022-23, winning the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season and post-season tournament, and advancing to the third round of the NCAA DIII national tournament.

Wisconsin opens the regular season with three-straight home games. The Badgers face in-state rival Milwaukee on Nov. 7 before taking on Western Illinois just two days later.  UW faces South Dakota State, the 2023 Summit League champions and a second-round NCAA tournament participant, on Nov. 14.

Sophomore Sania Copeland plays in her home state for the first time in her collegiate career when UW travels to Kansas State on Nov. 19. The Wildcats advanced to the third round of the WNIT in 2023.

Following two games in a Thanksgiving tournament appearance in Fort Myers, Florida, the Badgers return home to face Northern Illinois, a 2023 Women's Basketball Invitational participant, on Nov. 29 and Butler on Dec. 3.

The non-conference season wraps up in mid-December. Wisconsin travels to St. Thomas on Dec. 13 before taking on Eastern Illinois in the Kohl Center on Dec. 21.

The Badgers' Big Ten Conference foes were announced at an earlier date. Each team plays 18 conference games, and here is a breakdown of who the Badgers will face at home and on the road during the 2023-24 season:

HOME
Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers
