Badgers conclude day one of Michigan meet

Michigan leads 152-51
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Wisconsin men's swim and dive team finished the first of a two-day meet, competing against the Michigan Wolverines. The day was highlighted by strong showings in both the 200 freestyle relay and individual medley races.
The 200 freestyle relay team featuring Taiko Torepe-Ormsby, Ben Wiegand, Chris Morris, and Sam Lorenz earned a first place finish with a time of 1:20.47.
The 200 freestyle featured strong performances from the Badgers as well. Yoav Romano and Luukas Vainio finished second and third respectively, separated by a hundredth of a second. Morris was not far behind, finishing in fifth, just half a second behind his teammates.
Jaden Eikermann Gregorchuk finished a team-best fourth place in the one meter dive, putting up 295.90 points.
