Coach Hodge Habibovic
"I'm extremely proud of the performance both of our crews put out on the water today. We've been approaching this season much differently than years past. We also graduated a lot of speed last year so there were a lot of unknowns heading into this season. This result is a true testament of our athletes stepping up to fill huge roles and displaying true maturity and grit.
Â
It's awesome to win the event for the first time in program history, but the Head of the Charles is just the Head of the Charles and we have bigger goals in mind come this Spring. I'm excited to keep the main thing the main thing and continue to develop our deep team by producing more speed."
Â
Up Next: The Badgers take part in a scrimmage with Minnesota and the Wisconsin openweights in Madison on Nov. 2.
