Four men’s soccer players named among nation's top 100 freshman

Boltz, Zachemski, Hebert, Kuhr named to Top Drawer Soccer list in top 40 of list of 100
MADISON, Wis. – Four members of the Badger men's soccer team were named to the Top Drawer Soccer Men's Midseason Top 100 Freshmen list, the organization announced on Monday.
Dean Boltz was named the top freshman in the country, while Matthew Zachemski was 20th, Matisse Hebert earned 29th and Julian Kuhr was 36th.
Boltz notched four goals and three assists in his first four collegiate appearances. The Palatine, Illinois, native stands at 22 points with nine goals and four assists so far this season. The freshman notched a hat trick in his very first collegiate game. The freshman joined the Badgers with previous accolades, including U19 MLS Next MVP. Boltz leads the Badgers in goals, assists, points, shots and game-winning goals.
Zachemski has made his presence felt scoring three goals so far this season. He's started 12 games in the Cardinal and White and is tied for third in points on the team. The freshman scored his first collegiate penalty kick Saturday against the Buckeyes.
Hebert has five shutouts in 12 starts. He also posts a winning record of 6-3-2 in between the posts. The Montreal, Quebec, native posts a goals against average of only 1.13.
Kuhr started seven games for the Badgers and has seen action in eight games. The midfielder averages 78 minutes per game in the game's he's appeared and has been a solid two-way presence for the Badgers.
