Wisconsin notches 31-point victory over UW-Stevens Point
MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin women's basketball team defeated UW-Stevens Point, 72-41, in a preseason exhibition Tuesday night at the Kohl Center. Serah Williams led four Badgers in double figures with 16 points, seven rebounds and seven blocks. Jovana Spasovki and Carter McCray tallied 11 and 10 points, respectively in their unofficial Badger debuts. Natalie Leuzinger added 10 points as UW overwhelmed the Pointers.

A turnover on Wisconsin allowed UWSP to head down the court to take the early lead.
Williams found her footing posting back-to-back blocks.

The Pointers pushed ahead, but a free throw and a three-point basket from D'Yanis Jimenez put the Badgers back in the game.
Jovana Spasovski earned an AND1, made the free throw, and put the Badgers ahead. She followed up with two more points.THREE FROM D!

Second Quarter
A Williams layup opened the scoring in the second. She now had eight points on the night.
A turnaround jumper in the paint and personal foul on the Pointers gave Carter McCray her first points of the night.

Third Quarter
A layup by Spasovski started the scoring in the second half.

Fourth Quarter
The Pointers were the first to capitalize in the final quarter.
Tess Myers shot down the court and passed the ball to Leuzinger, who sank her second three of the game. This ignited the Badgers' 6-0 run.
