O'Brien was named the WCHA Forward of the Month for October earlier this week while Harvey took home WCHA Defender of the Month accolades. O'Brien also earned WCHA Forward of the Month honors for September.
So far this season, O'Brien has 24 points thanks to seven goals and 17 assists. Two of her seven goals were game-winning goals, including a game-winning tally against No. 3 Minnesota. The Milton, Massachusetts, native has earned four WCHA Forward of the Week honors so far this season and has a +15 plus/minus rating.
A native of Salem, New Hampshire, Harvey has recorded five goals and 14 assists and has a +21 plus/minus rating to lead all skaters on the Badgers. Harvey recently dished out four assists in a comeback 4-3 win on the road against No. 3 Minnesota, and has recorded a point in each contest this season.
This is Harvey's third WCHA Defender of the Month award in her career and she currently is number two in the country in both points and assists, trailing only Casey O'Brien in both categories.
