MADISON, Wis. — The Badgers will return to the UW Field House for a mid-week match with the Ohio State Buckeyes. The match is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network.

Before the match begins, here are six things to know:

1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers split the past week, going 1-1 with a gritty, five-set victory over No. 16 Minnesota, followed by a No. 2 Nebraska sweep. Wisconsin split the series with the Gophers this season, while Nebraska finished with a 2-0 series sweep over UW. Nebraska took all six sets from the Badgers, and marked the first time Nebraska swept both matches since 2012.

2. VOLLEYBALL PRO FEDERATION DRAFT: In the second annual Pro Volleyball Federation draft, seniors Devyn Robinson and CC Crawfrod were drafted on Monday. Robinson was selected in the first round and fifth overall by the San Diego Mojo, while Crawford was drafted in the secound round, 16th overall by the Indy Ignite.

3. D STEPS UP: With Lola Schumacher and Gulce Guctekin still out with injuries, Saige Damrow got her third consecutive start at libero at Nebraska. Maile Chan and Carly Anderson also stepped in at the DS position in Nebraska. The three of them combined for 16 digs.

4. HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS:
In the last five years, the Badgers are 76-8 at the UW Field House, and 13-1 when hosting NCAA First, Second, Regional and Regional Finals. The loss vs Nebraska this season was the first time the Badgers have dropped a match on the home court since the five set loss to Pitt in the Regional Final in 2022.

5. 20+ MARK: With the wins over No. 23 USC and UCLA to improve to 20-5, 14-2 overall, the Badgers reached 20 wins on the season. This marks the 35th time in program history where the Badgers have recorded 20+ wins in a season. Head coach Kelly Sheffield has tallied 20+ wins in each of his seasons here at Wisconsin (14).

6. SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES: Ohio State is sitting at .500 on the season, with a 14-14 record overall and a 7-11 record in the Big Ten. Wisconsin leads the history between the two teams, 45-39. The Badgers haven't dropped a match to the Buckeyes since the 2019 season. Outside hitter Emily Londot ranks second in the Big Ten and 21st in the NCAA in kills per set with 4.44 and libero Olivia Hasbrook ranks fifth in the Big Ten with 3.76 digs per set. The Buckeyes are coming off a 3-2 victory over Indiana on Sunday evening.
