Badger co-captain marks seventh Badger to make the USA roster

MADISON, Wis. -- O'Brien will join six other former and current Wisconsin women's hockey players on the USA Hockey roster for the upcoming Rivalry Series, the organization announced last Friday

O'Brien will join current Badgers Lacey Eden, Laila Edwards, Caroline Harvey and Kirsten Simms, alongside former UW stars Britta Curl and Hilary Knight with Team USA when the Americans face Canada three times in November.

The seven players will be joined by UW athletic trainer Stef Arndt, who will serve in the same capacity for Team USA.

They'll play against seven former Canadian Badgers who were named to the Canadian roster in October.

The U.S. will play Canada on Nov. 6 in San Jose, California, Nov. 8 in Salt Lake City and Nov. 10 in Boise, Idaho. All three games will be broadcast on the NHL Network.
