
Nineteen former Badgers named to PWHL rosters, staff

15 players and 4 staff named on the six PWHL teams were once Badgers
MADISON, Wis. – Nineteen former members of the Wisconsin women's hockey team will be joining Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) teams for the 2024-25 season, their respective teams announced last week.
Fourteen former Badgers will be mainstays on their team's rosters, four will make contributions from behind the bench and one former Badger was listed as a reserve. Six former Badgers are joining the Toronto Scepters organization, while three skaters will join the Minnesota Frost. The Boston Fleet and Montreal Victoire will see two Badger players join their rosters, while one former Badger player will join the New York Sirens and Ottawa Charge.
Stefanie McKeough returns for another season to the Boston Fleet as an assistant coach. Sis Paulsen returns to serve as equipment manager for the Frost. Lauren Williams joins the Sirens for her first season there as an assistant coach. Carla MacLeod returns as head coach for the Ottawa Charge.
PWHL action began on Saturday and the regular season will continue through early May. Subject to regional availability, fans across most of America can catch PWHL games on the league's YouTube.
