MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin women's basketball team earned an at-large bid to the 2024 Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) and will play either Southern Indiana or UIC in a second-round matchup. The second round is held March 23-26 with the time, date, and location to be announced following the first round.
The Badgers are making their seventh appearance in the WNIT all-time and the first since 2011. UW previously took home the 2000 WNIT Championship with a 75-74 win over Florida.
The games will be hosted at on-campus sites, with the championship game taking place on April. 6.
