MADISON, Wis. – The seven-time Wisconsin women's hockey program announced updates to its 2024-25 schedule on Monday.
The Badgers will play 15 home games and will also participate in their second-ever outdoor game at Wrigley Field on Saturday, Jan. 4 against Ohio State as a part of the The Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series. More information about Wisconsin's outdoor game can be found here. The outdoor game will follow a contest against the Buckeyes on Thursday, Jan. 2 in Madison.
The series between the Badgers and Buckeyes was originally announced for the weekend of Feb. 14-16 in Madison but now both teams will have a bye that weekend.
Wisconsin opens its 2024-25 campaign with a home series against Lindenwood on Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28. Puck drop at Labahn Arena on Friday is set for 7 p.m. while the series finale will begin at 2 p.m.
The Badgers open league play at home with a series against Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, Oct. 12 and Sunday, Oct. 13. Both games against UMD will begin at 2 p.m.
The Badgers wrap up action in October with a series against Bemidji State on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25. Both games against the Beavers are set for 7 p.m. starts
The dates and times that the Badgers will face St. Thomas (weekend of Nov. 22-24), Minnesota State (weekend of Jan. 10-12), St. Cloud State (weekend of Jan. 24-26) and Minnesota (weekend of Feb. 7-9) will be announced in the coming weeks.
Single game tickets will go on sale next month.
