Take your mark: Divers travel to Tim Welsh Classic

Badgers will compete in a two-day competition
MADISON, Wis. — The men's and women's Wisconsin diving teams will continue the second half of the season, traveling to South Bend, Ind. for the Tim Welsh Classic on Jan. 24-25.
Before the Badgers dive in, here are five things to know:
1. MEN'S LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers finished off the dual meet portion of the season with a home meet vs Northwestern. On the men's side, Jaden Eikermann secured a first-place finish on the 10m platform with a score of 364.05 points, a new personal best. Junior Jan Lanser also notched a personal best on the platform with 301.20 points. On the 1-meter, Eikermann and Lanser were within one point of each other, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
2. WOMEN'S LAST TIME OUT: On the women's side, the Badgers completed the 10m platform sweep with Ryane Neal finishing first with 235.95 points for a new personal best. The UW women went 1, 2, 3, 4 on the platform with Molly Hampton, Vivian Kinnard and Greta Kavanagh following Neal. She also led the Badgers on the 1-meter, finishing with 234.75 points for a third-place finish.
3. ZONES: Thus far into the season, Ryane Neal and Jan Lanser have qualified for Zone "D" Diving Championships. The Badgers will be at the Tim Welsh Classic this weekend and the Badger Invite in two weeks, before Big Ten Championships at the end of February.
