Zan Fugitt won the first bout for the Badgers, fighting for an 8-4 decision. Earning his first Big Ten win, he is now 2-1 at home this season.
No. 33
Luke Condon engaged in a back-and-forth bout with Minnesota's Clayton Whiting in the 174 class. Condon forced a sudden victory, but ultimately fell, 8-5.
Wisconsin is now 4-8 on the season, with an 0-4 mark in conference play.
Looking Ahead
Wisconsin goes back on the road to Lincoln, facing Nebraska on Friday, Jan. 31. The team faces the Cornhuskers at 8 p.m. (CT) on Big Ten Network.
