MADISON, Wis. - The No. 9 Wisconsin volleyball team welcomes in a pair of ranked conference foes from the west coast this weekend, as they will take on No. 23 UCLA on Friday, Oct. 17 and No. 25 USC on Sunday, Oct. 19 at the UW Field House.

Friday's match is set to start at 7:00 p.m. CT, while Sunday's battle will get underway at 1:00 p.m. CT. Both matches will be televised on Big Ten Network.

The Badgers (12-2, 5-1) enter the week tied for second place in the Big Ten with Indiana and Illinois, tallying a victory this past weekend against Maryland.

Outside hitter Mimi Colyer tallied her third double-double of the season against the Terrapins, marking the 39th of her career. The senior finished with 12 kills and 11 digs to pace UW, receiving help from setter Addy Horner, who had a career-best 36 assists.

Wisconsin was able to overcome a slow start, once again utilizing the efficiency of their middle blockers to find its rhythm on the offensive end. Seniors Carter Booth and Alicia Andrew combined for 11 kills on 14 attempts with zero hitting errors, good for a .786 hitting percentage between the two athletes.

Booth enters the week with the least amount of errors amongst qualified hitters in the NCAA with 11. The AVCA Third-Team All-American sits in 18th in hitting percentage on the season at .424, ranking second in the Big Ten in the category.

The offense will be tested for the Badgers this upcoming weekend between the Bruins (10-6, 4-2) and the Trojans (11-5, 2-4). UCLA ranks in the top-5 in the Big Ten in lowest opponent hitting percentage at .189, in addition to turning in the third-highest mark in digs per set at 13.72, behind the Badgers and Nebraska.

USC leads the conference in blocks per set at 2.82 through 16 matches. They sit in fourth in the Big Ten with an opponent hitting percentage of .179.

After this weekend's action, UW will continue its west coast stretch by heading out to Seattle, Washington to take on the Huskies on Friday, Oct. 24 at 9:00 p.m. CT. The match will be televised on Big Ten Network.
