Wisconsin collects seven NCAA qualifying marks
AUSTIN, Texas — The No. 17 Wisconsin women's swim team wrapped up day two of competition at the Texas Invite as the dive team completed the first day at Ohio State, collecting seven top-10 performances and seven NCAA qualifying marks.
In the 200 free, Maggie and Abby Wanezek finished fifth and seventh for a fourth and fifth all-time UW performance, respectively. Their times of 1:44.23 and 1:44.48 earned them NCAA qualifying marks.
Freshman Brooke Corrigan broke the one-minute mark in the 100 breast with a time of 59.80 for the first time in her career, earning her an NCAA qualifying mark and fourth-place spot in the top-10 list. Bridget McGann's time of 1:00.23 ranks fifth in the top-10 list at UW.
At Ohio State, Wisconsin participated in the 3-meter diving event. In preliminaries, junior Julia Herring led the charge, collecting 234.50 points.

The swimmers will continue competition tomorrow on day three at the Texas Invite, and the divers will begin day two at Ohio State. Preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. in Texas, with finals at 6 p.m. In Columbus, prelims begin at 9:30 a.m. and finals kick off at 5:30 p.m.
