Wisconsin drops only four events
MADISON, Wis. — The No. 20 Wisconsin men's swim and dive team delivered a strong 156-104 performance against the Purdue Boilermakers at Soderholm on Saturday afternoon.
How it happened:
Senior Dominik Mark Torok collected first place finishes in two of his events. Torok touched the wall in 1:47.94 in the 200 IM, with freshman Enzo Solitario close behind in 1:48.29. In the 200 fly, Torok finished in 1:44.88 as Charlie Jones placed second in 1:45.46.
The Badgers completed a one, two, three sweep in the 200 free. Sophomore Yoav Romano led the charge, touching the wall in 1:35.30. Junior Luukas Vainio and freshman Adam Graham followed shortly behind in 1:36.75 and 1:38.15, respectively.
Wisconsin's relay teams put up strong performances, collecting a first and second place finish in the 400 medley with times of 3:08.57 and 3:09.67.
Up Next:
The Badgers will return to action in 2026, where the swimmers will head to San Diego, California, for a tri meet against UCLA and UCSD at 11 a.m. on Jan. 3. The divers will make their way out to Florida for a dual meet against FIU on the same day.
