
Dunn named All-American in the 400 IM

Bacon adds another All-American honor
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Callahan Dunn and Phoebe Bacon both collected All-American honors for the Wisconsin women's swim team on day three of the NCAA swimming and diving championships.Â
After a school-record setting prelim swim in the 400 IM with a time of 4:04.85, Callahan Dunn broke her own record in finals with a time of 4:04.20. Dunn earned All-American honors with her seventh-place finish. The fifth year was seeded 20th, and dropped three seconds in her swim.Â
Phoebe Bacon set a new personal best in the 100 backstroke with a time of 50.00 for a fifth-place finish along with All-American honors.Â
Abby Carlson finished 24th in the 200 freestyle to round out individual competition for the Badgers.Â
To finish the night, the Wisconsin 400 medley relay team of Maggie Wanezek, Hazal Ozkan, Phoebe Bacon and Abby Wanezek earned a tenth-place finish and a new school record with a time of 3:28.18.

Competition concludes on Saturday with the 1650 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly and the 400 freestyle relay. Prelims begin at 12 p.m. (CT) and finals start at 8 p.m. (CT).Â
