Caroline Harvey and sophomore
Ava McNaughton took home WCHA Player of the Month honors, the league announced on Tuesday.
Harvey was named the WCHA Defender of the Month for the third time this year while McNaughton was named the WCHA Goaltender of the Month for the fourth time this campaign.Â
A native of Salem, New Hampshire, Harvey had seven points in six games during February, which ranked second among WCHA blueliners. Her six assists also ranked second among league blueliners. Harvey's +16 plus/minus rating was the best mark of any skater during February.Â
McNaughton ranked second among WCHA goaltenders in goals against average with a 1.00 mark and her .948 save percentage also ranked second in the league. Her five wins were tied for the most of any goalie in the month and three of her wins came against ranked opponents.Â
Harvey, McNaughton and the No. 1 Badgers will take on No. 6 Minnesota Duluth on Friday in the semifinals of the 2025 WCHA Final Faceoff. Puck drop is set for 1 p.m. and fans can watch the action on the CW in Madison.
