GENEVA, Ohio -Â Wisconsin Wrestling was well represented on the national stage as
Zan Fugitt and
Luke Condon delivered standout performances at the 2025 U20 World Team Trials, held May 30 at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio.
Competing at 61 kg, Fugitt advanced to the championship finals behind a dominant run that featured back-to-back 5-0 decisions and a gritty 2-2 criteria win. The All-American battled hard in the finals but ultimately fell in a 10-0 technical fall, securing a strong runner-up finish.

At 79 kg, Condon turned in an equally impressive performance. He opened the tournament with a 13-3 tech fall and a 4-2 decision to reach the semifinals. After a narrow loss, Condon fought his way through the consolation bracket, picking up a 17-8 decision before clinching third place with a pin in 4:18.

"Super proud of these two and the way they approached and attacked their preparation for this event," said associate head coach Jon Reader. "Tons of growth from both of them! Both came out healthy and excited to get back to work!"
