MADISON, Wis. – The regular-season schedule for the 77th season of Wisconsin men's hockey is out as the Big Ten announced its conference men's hockey slate on Friday.
The Badgers open Big Ten play on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Kohl Center with a Thursday/Saturday border battle series against Minnesota.
UW then travels to Michigan on Nov. 7-8 for its first conference road series, before returning home to face Ohio State on Nov. 14-15.
Wisconsin's remaining four home Big Ten series all fall in the second semester, starting with Michigan State and Penn State visiting in consecutive weekends on Jan. 15-16 and Jan. 23-24, respectively. UW wraps up its Big Ten home slate with Notre Dame on Feb. 6-7 and Michigan on Feb. 20-21.
The Badgers officially open their season on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3-4, when they visit the Lindenwood Lions in Maryland Heights, Missouri. UW's first home series is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, Oct. 16-17, when Minnesota State, head coach Mike Hastings' former team, comes to town.
Season tickets for the general public are currently on sale. Student season tickets will go on sale at a later date.
