MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin men's soccer team (2-4-0, 0-2-0 B1G) will host the Washington Huskies (4-3-2, 1-1-0 B1G) on Friday, Sept. 26. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT at McClimon Soccer Complex.

Here are five things to know about the match.

1 – PAC THE MAC – Friday's match against the Huskies is the annual Pac the Mac event. Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the first 250 fans will receive a Wisconsin Soccer scarf. 

2 – PORTER MAGIC – Redshirt sophomore Cristobal Porter gave the Badgers an early lead against UCLA with his one-touch goal in the fifth minute of last week's contest. Unfortunately Wisconsin could not hold off UCLA's attackers, falling in the match 3-1. The lone goal was Porter's first as a Wisconsin Badger. 

3 – BIG TEN SEAL-BREAKER – The Wisconsin men's soccer team will look to break the seal on Big Ten play on Friday against the Huskies. The Badgers have started 0-2 in Big Ten play for the first time since 2022, but have played a tough schedule including Maryland and UCLA, who are a combined 3-0-1 in Big Ten action so far. 

4 – HUSKY WATCH – The Badgers are 0-5-1 against Washington in the all-time series. The two teams most recently met last season in Seattle where the match ended in a draw. The Huskies offense has been on a roll through nine games this season, outscoring opponents 23-11. Sophomore Zach Ramsey and junior Charlie Kosakoff lead the way for the Huskies with four goals each. Wisconsin will look to get its first program win against Washington on Friday.
