Badgers wrap up action at Big Ten Indoor Championships

Kylie Finger finishes in sixth in the 3k
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Wisconsin track and field team completed its third and final day at the Big Ten Championships, highlighted by a sixth-place finish in the 3000 meters from Kylie Finger, running her personal best and an eighth-place finish in the shot put from Danni Langseth.Â
Finger crossed the line in 9 minutes, 0.6 seconds, to move into No. 4 in school history. She shaved off almost 12 seconds off of her previous best, 9:12.30 set last month at the Penn Elite.Â
Leané Willemse finished in 14th in the 3000 meters, crossing the finish line in 9:20.26. Sara Mlodik also competed in the 3k, running her personal best, 9:32.81, good for 25th place.Â
Langseth threw her season best with a heave of 52 feet, 11 inches (16.13m). Langseth placed eighth followed by Zonica Lindequeu's ninth-place finish.Â
Up Next: The indoor season will conclude in two weeks with the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, March 13-14, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.Â
