
Wisconsin closes out NCAA Zone Diving Championships

Ryane Neal places 16th on the platform
COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Wisconsin women's dive team closed out competition at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in College Station on Wednesday afternoon.
Ryane Neal led the Badgers on the platform board after a strong performance in the afternoon's preliminary session. The junior collected 227.30 points in prelims to earn a spot in the event's finals session. To close out the meet's competition in platform finals, Neal collected 458.80 points for a 16th-place finish.
Vivian Kinnard and Zara Karimi held strong in the platform preliminary session. Kinnard earned 212.70 points across five dives, just under eight points behind the last qualifier for the evening finals session. Karimi earned 191.60 points across five dives.
Up next: The Wisconsin women's swim and dive team will close out its season at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta on March 18-21.
