Vote for who best represents the Badger trademarks of team spirit and good sportsmanship

MADISON, Wis. – It's time to cast your vote for the Jim Santulli 7th Man Award. Vote for the Wisconsin men's hockey player you believe gives his all on the ice and best represents the Badger trademarks of team spirit and good sportsmanship.

The WHA-TV Jim Santulli 7th Man Award was first handed out for the 1980-81 season. Santulli was instrumental in Badger hockey, basketball and football broadcasts beginning in 1973, serving as a producer for Wisconsin Public Television for 30 years.

It goes to the student-athletes who fans feel isn't necessarily a star, but does whatever they can to help the Badgers succeed on the ice.

Past winners of the award include Zach Schulz, Owen Lindmark, Jack Horbach, Andy Wheeler, Dan Boeser, Andy Brandt, Todd Lecy, John Byce, Nick Licari, Roman Ahcan, Tarek Baker and Jamie Spencer, among others.
