Munson wins steeplechase
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's track and field team finished off itsweekend in Platteville with two event wins at the UW-Platteville Invitational.
Graduate Student Maggie Munson had a strong outdoor season debut, winning the steeplechase in 10 minutes, 41.70 seconds.
Emma Kruse competed in her first outdoor event of the season, finishing in second in the 1500 meters. The Johannesburg native closed things out for the Badgers in 4:32.16.
Up Next: The Badgers will split for three meets in California, the Beach Invite and the Pacific Coast Invite in Long Beach and the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa.
