Big Ten volleyball announces postseason tournament
MADISON, Wis. – The Big Ten Conference and Wisconsin volleyball announced the establishment of a Big Ten Volleyball Tournament beginning this 2026 season. The tournament will be held at the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana.
Previously, the Big Ten scheduled 20 regular season with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament for the team that had the best in-conference results. Beginning this season, the Big Ten regular season will now see 17 total matches and move to a single round-robin format with the installment of the Big Ten Tournament.
The tournament will feature a 15-team format with first round competition beginning Friday, November 20, 2026, and wrap with the championship match on Wednesday, November 25, 2026.
