Seven Badgers to compete in Las Vegas for U.S. Open Championships

Badgers represented across senior and U20 divisions
LAS VEGAS, Nev. -Â Wisconsin wrestling will be represented by seven current and former wrestlers at the 2026 U.S. Open Championships, set for April 22-26 in Las Vegas.
In the senior division, assistant coach Tony Cassioppi and Wisconsin RTC athlete Eric Barnett will compete. Barnett enters the tournament ranked No. 6 at 57 kg in the pre-seeds, while former Badger Evan Wick ('18–'21) holds the No. 3 pre-seed at 79 kg.
In the U20 division, current Badgers Collin McDowell and Caleb Dennee are set to compete, alongside incoming commits Eli Leonard and Connor Diemel.
