Softball adds Porter as volunteer assistant coach

Former St. Cloud Husky added to Badger coaching staff
MADISON, Wis. – Head coach Yvette Healy of the Wisconsin softball team adds Justyce Porter as a volunteer assistant coach.
Fresh off from graduating at St. Cloud State (Minnesota), Porter joins the Badgers' coaching staff where she will assist the Badgers in day-to-day work, including assisting associate head coach Mike Roberts in the bullpen.
"We're thrilled to add Justice to the Wisconsin softball coaching staff, states head coach Yvette Healy. "She comes from a stellar pitching career at St. Cloud State working with Mitch Roberts. She will bring grade playing experience and energy to the staff support supporting Coach Roberts in the bullpen."
Porter played all four seasons at St. Cloud and finished with a 35-20 record with the Huskies in 417.1 innings pitched. In her senior season, she helped the Huskies to an NCAA Division II Central Regional tournament appearance before falling to Augustana. The 6-foot right-handed pitcher went 16-7 this season with a 2.21 ERA in 139.2 innings pitched, totaled 77 strikeouts, and finished with 11 complete games.
Porter began her duties as of June 10.
