Badgers will travel to Clearwater for 2027 NFCA DI Leadoff Classic

Wisconsin to kickoff season in Florida
MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin softball team will play in the 2027 NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic presented by MaxBP in Clearwater, Fla., announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Tuesday afternoon.
The Badgers open NFCA Classic with a doubleheader on Friday, February 12, taking on UNC at 3 p.m. and Cal Baptist at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, Wisconsin will wrap up play with a 9 a.m. game against Auburn. All times listed are in central.
The full 2027 regular season softball schedule will be released at a later date.
