2022-23 (Senior): Placed 15th at IRA Championships coxing the seonc varsity eight boat.
2021-22 (Junior): VanLue coxed third varsity four/eight throughout the season, he was also Academic All Big Ten.
2020-21 (Sophomore) : N/A
2019-2020 (Freshman): Coxed the novice 8B and took first place at Bald Eagle Invitational (Nov. 2) ... coxed the novice 4C and took seventh place at Bald Eagle Invitational (Nov. 2)
High School: Rowed for five years ... coxed the men's Youth 8+ at the 2016/2017 Head of the Charles Regatta ... coxed the men's Youth 4+ in 2018 (placed 13th out of a field of 85) ... backup coxswain at the 2019 USRowing Youth National Championships
Personal: Mother is Michelle VanLue ... major is microbiology ... recieved a FRI Research Fellowship for summer 2021
Reason for choosing UW-Madison: UW Madison had one of the strongest programs for my intended degree, has one of the best campuses, and I could continue rowing at a DI level.
