Biography

2023: Started in all 16 games he played, playing 90 minutes in all but three of them. Key member of a Wisconsin defense that collected seven shutouts. Named to TopDrawerSoccer's National Team of the Week after a shutout of No. 2 Kentucky (09/01).

2022: Played ever minute of the season as a freshman. Scored his first career goal against Maryland (10/10). Named to the Top 100 Freshmen list. 

Prior to Wisconsin: Waukee High School graduate was named first-team all-conference and team MVP as a senior after putting up 12 goals and 17 assists in 14 games. The team won the class 3A state title both his freshman and sophomore seasons, going 22-0 during the second title run. He spent this past year as center back with Minnesota United in MLS Next.
 
Brown's brother, Alex, played tennis at Illinois, while his father, Alan, played tennis at Central College in Iowa.
 
Why Wisconsin?
"I really liked the coaches and players I met. I think there's a lot of potential with the program and I am excited to be a part of that.
 
"The city of Madison is beautiful and it's pretty close to home which was an important factor for me too."
