Reason for choosing UW-Madison: "I grew up with stories of UW-Madison from my mom and my uncle. I had my first Badger sweatshirt even before I could talk! At that point, I was unaware of UW-Madison as a nationally respected university, community and lifestyle. Over the years many visits to the city, the campus, Badger football games and a weeklong youth leadership conference hosted by the university solidified my commitment to be a Badger. The energy and tradition tied to UW-Madison is unmatchable so I couldn't wait to become a part of it!"
What Wisconsin rowing means to you: "It's pretty cool to be a Badger no matter what, but to be able to represent my university as an athlete as well is a dream come true! Athletics have been a pretty important part of my life so far, and I'm grateful to have to opportunity to continue with that and make connections with some amazing people."
