2015-2016: Won the 2016 IRA National Championship title with the lightweight four, sitting stroke seat (June 4-5)... won the EAWRC Sprints with the second lightweight eight (May 1)... four seat for the collegiate eight that placed second and third at the Big Ten/ Big 12 Invite (April 23)... placed first at the Charles River Lightweight Invite with the second lightweight eight (April 17)... rowed two seat in the lightweight eight that placed third at the Knecht Cup (April 10)... 2016 Academic All-Big Ten honoree
2014-15: Rowed in lightweight double sculls that won the 2015 IRA National Championships (May 31) ... two seat for second lightweight eight that took third at EAWRC Sprints (May 3) ... seven seat for lightweight eight that took fourth at Head of the Charles (Oct. 19) ... three seat for lightweight four that took eighth at Head of the Rock (Oct. 12) ... eight seat for lightweight eight that took second at Milwaukee River Challenge (Sept. 20)... competed in the 2015 World Rowing Under-23 Championships for the United States.
2013-14: Stroked lightweight varsity eight to a third place finish at Head of the Charles, second place finish at EAWRC Sprints and a sixth place finish at the 2014 IRA National Championships ... first-team CRCA All-American
High School: Rowed to first at the Northeast Regional Championship in in both 2012 and 2013 ... took second at the 2013 Youth Nationals ... was sixth at the 2012 Head of the Charles ... also competed in indoor track for two seasons, achieving two varsity letters.
Personal: Has a brother, Will Purman, who rowed lightweight at the University of Delaware ... major is marketing
