2017-18: Rowed four seat with lightweight four and placed second at the IRA National Championship (June 3) ... sat three seat in lightweight four at Eastern Sprints and took first (April 29) ... rowed five seat with the lightweight eight at the Knecht Cup that took seventh place (April 14) ... rowed bow at Knecht Cup for lightweight four and took first place (April 14) ... placed fourth with the second lightweight eight at the Frozen vs Sunshine Regatta (March 31) ... 2018 Academic All-Big Ten

2016-17: Placed fourth at the IRA National Championships with the lightweight eight (June 4) … rowed five seat with the eight that placed second at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 13) … came in second at the Eastern Sprints with the lightweight eight (April 30) … swept three races at Grand Valley State University with the lightweight eight (April 23) … rowed five seat in the eight that placed fifth in the Knecht Cup petite final (April 9) … placed second at Head of the Rock with a collegiate eight (Oct. 9) … also placed second with a collegiate pair at Head of the Rock with teammate Brianna Wynne … 2017 Academic All-Big Ten … 2017 CRCA Scholar Athlete Award recipient

2015-16: Three seat with the lightweight four that won the 2016 IRA National Championship title (June 5)... took first place at the EAWRC Sprints with the second lightweight eight boat, rowing in seven seat (May 1)... rowed three seat for the lightweight eight that placed third at the Charles River Lightweight Invitational (April 17)... placed sixth at the Knecht Cup wih the second lightweight eight (April 10)... 2016 Academic All-Big Ten honoree... 2016 CRCA Scholar-Athlete recipient

2014-15: Rowed three seat for lightweight four that took second at 2015 IRA National Championships (5/31) ... bowed the second lightweight eight that placed third at EAWRC Sprints (5/3) ... bowed the lightweight eight that took second and first in Boston Round Robin races (4/19) ... bowed the lightweight eight that took fourth at Knecht Cup (4/13) ... three seat for lightweight four that won Knecht Cup (4/13) ... three seat for lightweight novice four that took second at Head of the Rock (10/12) ... bow seat for the lightweight eight that finished ninth at Milwaukee River Challenge (9/20)

High School: Participated in rowing for four years...competed on the high school and club teams...took gold in the lightweight double in 2013-14 at CSSRAs with Crafton...stroked the third place four at the 2014 Brentwood Regatta...raced at the Windemere Cup all four seasons with the high school team and won in it 2013...placed second in the UIA four at the 2014 Canadian Henley with the club team...took fourth in the U17 single at the 2013 Canadian Henley...played club soccer for four seasons...two-time champions in the Gold II competitive soccer level

Personal: Parents are Olivia Sampson and Erol Girt...has a sister, Sabine...currently in the honors program...majoring in molecular biology
