What Wisconsin rowing means to you: Wisconsin rowing is a big part of the reason why I decided to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Because I am on a lightweight team now I see Wisconsin rowing as my opportunity to compete on a more even playing field with people who are closer to my height and weight. Wisconsin rowing also means family to me. I moved out to Wisconsin this fall not knowing anyone. My teammates have become my friends, the team my family and the coaches my mentors.
