2018-19: Coxswain and took second place in lightweight four B at Eastern Sprints (May 5)…coxswain and took third place in lightweight four petite final at Knecht Cup (April 14)…coxswain and took sixth place in novice eight at San Diego Crew Classic (April 7)…coxswain and took fifth place in open eight at Milwaukee River Challenge (Sept. 15)

High School: competed in cross country for four years, earning four varsity letters…team captain, received Most Valuable Senior Award…alternate for state junior and senior year…competed in track and field for four years, earning one varsity letter…team captain

Personal: Parents are Tim and Nancy Mallek…has one sister, Emily, and two brothers, Mitchell and Evan…Emily played softball and golf at UW-Oshkosh…Mitchell currently plays baseball at Saint Cloud State University…majoring in chemistry

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: I chose UW-Madison because of the countless academic opportunities and social events on campus.
