Biography

2018-19: Rowed three seat and took third place in lightweight four grand final at IRA National Championships (June 2)…Rowed one seat and took second place in lightweight four A at Eastern Sprints (May 5)…Rowed seven seat and took fourth place in lightweight eight petite final at Knecht Cup, also rowed three seat and took sixth in lightweight four grand final at Knecht Cup (Apr. 14)…Rowed seven seat and took sixth place in novice eight at San Diego Crew Classic (Apr. 7)…Rowed one seat and took third place in varsity four B at Cardinal Invitational (Mar. 17)…Rowed five seat and took fifth place with lightweight B’s in open four at Milwaukee River Challenge (Sept. 15)

High School: Competed in crew for three years, earning three varsity letters…Varsity captain, three-time Youth Nationals qualifier in lightweight double and varsity quad…two-time Stotesbury Cup Regatta and Scholastic Nationals Champion in varsity quad…competed in cross country and track and field for three years, earning five varsity letters…won Most Improved Athlete Award and Captain’s Banner Award

Personal: Parents are Thomas and Annamaria Concannon…has a sister, Rita who is an Active Duty Army Nurse at Walter Reed Hospital…majoring in mechanical engineering…member of Army ROTC at UW-Madison, received Daughters of Founders and Patriots Award through ROTC this year

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: I chose UW-Madison for its school spirit and strong engineering program and academics. I love the city of Madison and the feel of campus.
