Eligibility (Indoor/Outdoor): Redshirt Freshman/Sophomore

2019 Season

2019 Outdoor: At the Big Ten Championship (5/10-12) competed in the preliminary 200 and 400 meters and finished 22nd and 25th respectively and raced with the 4x100 and 4x400 relays... finished runner-up in the 200 meters with a time of 22.03, placed third in the 400 meters in 48.93 and competed as a member of the 4x400 relay that finished runner-up with an overall time of 3:14.20 at the Wisconsin Alumni Classic (5/3) ... in his collegiate outdoor debut, competed as a member of the 4x100 relay team that placed 23rd with an overall time of 42.00 at the Penn Relays (4/26)

2019 Indoor: Competing unattached, took fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 22.84 and finished sixth in the 400 meters, crossing the line in 49.93 at the Red & White Classic (2/15)

High School

Four-year state meet qualifier … named Pewaukee Boys’ Track Rookie of the Year as a freshman … helped the 4x400 to a runner-up finish at the state meet his freshman year … named Pewaukee Boys’ Most Dedicated as a sophomore … took ninth in the 400 meters at the state meet his sophomore year … named Pewaukee Boys’ Most Valuable Athlete his junior year … took sixth in the 400 meters and 12th in the 200 meters at the state meet his junior year … as a senior, was the runner-up in the 400 meters at the state meet … was a member of the Wisconsin All-State Team and was also a Badger Boys’ State Attendee … also participated in football and basketball … was a two-time All-Conference defensive back … named defensive MVP and All-Conference wide receiver in 2017 … was a member of the high honor roll … high school coach was Abby Varela

Parents are Paula and Bob Young … has two siblings, Key (37) and Cassie (30) … intended major is astronomy
