The University of Wisconsin is serving as host for the 2019 Big Ten Championships on Devil’s Lake at Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
2019 Big Ten Rowing Championships
The Big Ten rowing championships will be held on Sunday, May 19, taking place on Devil’s Lake at Devil’s Lake State Park.

Eight teams compete in Big Ten rowing with women’s programs from Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Rutgers and Wisconsin fielding teams.
This marks the third time Wisconsin will play host to the Big Ten rowing championships, and the first time since 2007 on Lake Wingra. The Badgers also hosted the inaugural 2000 championships on Lake Wingra.
This year also marks the first time since 2010 that the Big Ten championships will be held outside of Indianapolis.

2019 NCAA Rowing Championships
The winner of the 2019 Big Ten Rowing Championships will receive an automatic bid into the 22-team NCAA championships that take place May 31 – June 2 in Indianapolis.
Additional Big Ten squads can earn NCAA bids as an at-large team. That announcement will come on Tuesday, May 21 at 4 p.m. CT via a streamed selection show at NCAA.com.
At the NCAA championships, team’s race a varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four.
Directions
Devil's Lake State Park is in south central Wisconsin about 3 miles south of Baraboo.
From the south or east on Interstate Highway 90/94, take State Highway 33 west about 15 miles to Baraboo. Turn left (south) at the second traffic light onto Broadway, and go through town on Broadway. At the second traffic circle, go left onto County Road DL and go 2 miles to the park.
From the northwest on I 90/94, go right (south) at exit 92. Take US Highway 12 East about 10 miles to exit 219. Turn left onto South Blvd. Turn right onto Highway 136 and follow it about 3 miles to the park entrance. From the south on US Highway 12, take exit 219. Turn right onto South Blvd. Turn right onto Highway 136 and follow it about 3 miles to the park entrance.
From about April through November, the park can be reached via the Merrimac free ferry, State Highway 113 and County Highway DL.
