Big Ten Rowing Championships Banner

The largest and most visited state park in Wisconsin, Devil’s Lake will host one of the premiere rowing events in the country, and we're looking forward to a great spectator experience.

Parking

On Championship Sunday, the South Shore will be restricted and only accessible to Big Ten rowing event permit holders along with championship vehicle admission ticket holders (sold online in advance).

A vehicle admission sticker is required on all motor vehicles stopping in state park, forest, recreation area and trail parking areas.

Wisconsin or out of state residents who already have a 2019 state park annual vehicle admission sticker will be able to use current stickers, but a championship Sunday permit will have to be reserved online in advance of your arrival to gain access to the south shore.

Wisconsin or out of state residents who do not have a 2019 state park vehicle admission sticker will be need to purchase a daily pass in advance.

Additional Information

Wisconsin State Parks have a "carry in, carry out" policy on trash. You should plan to bag all your trash and carry it home to dispose of. Picnic areas do not have trash cans, however, there are some dumpsters in the campgrounds and picnic areas for your use if necessary. Bins are also available for recyclable items of glass, plastic, aluminum and tin.

Due to the remote location of the lake, cell phone service can be poor or non-existent in many locations of the park. Do not depend solely on your cell phone for meeting with other members of your group.
