Q: What is Bucky’s Balcony?

A: Opened for the 2022 volleyball season, Bucky’s Balcony is a premium space on the north end of the upper deck of the UW Field House. This area features reserved, Ledge Seat locations, all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic beverages with cash bar available, HDTVs and views into Camp Randall Stadium through the 1917 Club.

Q: How do I purchase access to Bucky’s Balcony?

A: Access to Bucky’s Balcony will be available for purchase on a season and individual match basis.

Season Basis - Two Options

1. Reserved, Ledge Seat Tickets: Located on the glass overlooking the volleyball court with club access directly behind are available for purchase (all-in cost). Price includes season ticket cost, club access, food and non-alcoholic beverage cost and annual contribution credit. Reserved, Ledge Seat Ticket holders are to view the match by remaining seated on the drink rail in front of the tensabarrier.

• Standing Room Only (SRO) Ticket: For the 2024 volleyball season, Reserved, Ledge Seat Ticket holders will have the option to order an equitable number of SRO Tickets. Price includes match ticket, club access, food and non-alcoholic beverage cost and annual contribution credit. SRO Ticket holders are to view the match by standing directly behind their respective Reserved, Ledge Seat Ticket holder and in front of the tensabarrier.

2. Bucky’s Balcony Season Memberships (Does Not Include Match Tickets): During Badger Select, Bucky’s Balcony Season Memberships will be available for purchase to volleyball season ticket holders on a first-come, first-serve basis. Price includes club access, food and non-alcoholic beverage cost and annual contribution credit. Bucky’s Balcony Season Memberships are limited and will be sold annually. Volleyball season ticket holders interested in purchasing a Bucky’s Balcony Season Membership must have a ticket valid for entry to the UW Field House, as Bucky’s Balcony Season Memberships are only valid for access to the club space and are not valid for access to the UW Field House. Once in the club space, Bucky’s Balcony Season Membership holders must remain behind the tensabarrier while in the club space and should return to their seats in the bowl to view the match.

Single Match Basis – One Option:

Bucky’s Balcony Single Match Ticket: Ideal for corporate functions, Bucky’s Balcony Single Match Tickets include a single match general admission ticket valid for seating on a first come, first serve basis in upper balcony section CC, club access, food and non-alcoholic beverage cost and annual contribution credit. If in the club space, Bucky’s Balcony Single Match Ticket holders must remain behind the tensabarrier or in upper balcony section CC.

Q: I am a volleyball season ticket holder with ADA seating needs. I am interested in Bucky’s Balcony. Is there ADA seating available in Bucky’s Balcony?

A: Yes. ADA seating is available in Bucky’s Balcony. Reserved, wheelchair spaces are located on the east and west ends of the Reserved, Ledge Seats.

Q: How do I access Bucky’s Balcony?

A: Before a patron may access Bucky’s Balcony, the patron must first scan a ticket (not a membership) valid for entry to the UW Field House. Once inside the UW Field House, access points to Bucky’s Balcony are via the concourse elevator near Gate D in the northwest corner of the UW Field House, or the upper balcony stairs between sections CC and DD.

Reserved, Ledge Seat Tickets, SRO Tickets and Bucky’s Balcony Single Match Tickets may be scanned once at either Gates B, C or the South Plaza for entry to the UW Field House, and a second time for entry to Bucky’s Balcony once inside the UW Field House.

Bucky’s Balcony Season Membership holders must first scan a ticket valid for seating in the bowl at either Gates B, C or the South Plaza for entry to the UW Field House. Once inside the UW Field House, Bucky’s Balcony Season Memberships may be scanned for entry to Bucky’s Balcony.
