Former Wisconsin assistant coach Henry Mason is in his 11th season as a member of the Badgers' football support staff, serving as director of student-athlete engagement and outreach. Mason was UW’s wide receivers coach from 1995 to 2007 before an injury sustained in the summer of 2007 prevented him from coaching.
In his position, Mason works towards developing a strong relationship with both high school coaches and NFL player personnel and is the primary contact for both groups.
Mason also acts as the liaison with the WIAA, AFCA, W Club and UW Foundation. He serves as a member of the Diversity Integration Group in UW Athletics and assists in furthering diversity relationships on campus, in the community and with the Black Coaches Association. Mason also coordinates development efforts with the Athletic Development office for football alumni and pro athletes.Â
