Billy Lewis is in his second season with the Wisconsin football program in 2022, his first as a recruiting assistant. He spent his first year in Madison as a graduate assistant, working with the Badgers’ defensive coaching staff.
Lewis previously served two seasons as a recruiting operations assistant for the Badgers before spending the 2019 and 2020 seasons as a graduate assistant at Duke.Â
In 2016, Lewis worked for one year at his alma mater, Stevenson University, serving as a defensive assistant. While with the Mustangs, Lewis worked primarily with the outside linebackers and safeties.
A three-year team captain at Stevenson, he finished as the Mustangs’ all-time career leader in interceptions and was twice named first-team All-Middle Atlantic Conference.
He graduated from Stevenson with a degree in history in 2016.
