Junior guard Jordan Davis looks to establish himself in Wisconsin’s lineup this season after he earned playing time in 27 games for the Badgers last season. The La Crosse, Wisconsin native averaged 6.5 minutes per game off the bench last year for the Badgers, including a season-high seven points in a win at Minnesota. A standout prep athlete at La Crosse Central, Davis helped lead his team to the WIAA Division 2 state tournament each of his three years on the varsity team, capturing the state title in 2017. Davis finished his high school career with 1,101 points, 470 rebounds, 270 assists and 187 steals. Davis averaged 12.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game as a senior, helping the Red Raiders complete a 20-5 season. On the football field, Davis was also an impressive wide receiver for the Red Raiders, posting 358 receiving yards with 5 TDs through three games before suffering a season-ending injury. He hauled in 49 receptions for 873 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior.
