2022-23 (Senior): Placed 15th at IRA Championships rowing with the second varsity eight boat.
2021-22 (Junior): Academic All Big Ten. Rowed 6th on the second varsity eight.
2020-2021 (Sophomore):Â Rowed eight seat with third varsity eight and took first place at Marietta College (April 3)
2019-20 (Freshman):Â Rowed six seat with novice 8A and took second place at Bald Eagle Invitational (Nov. 2) ... rowed four seat with novice 4B and took first place at Bald Eagle Invitational (Nov. 2)
High School:Â Played football for four years, earning three letters ... 2018 team MVP ... 2018 First-team outside linebacker ... 2019 First-team outside linebacker and quarterback ... wrestled for two years, earning two letters ... team captain ... played baseball for four years, earning four letters ... Reason for choosing UW-Madison:Â I chose UW-Madison because of it's prestigious academic record and well respected athletic programs. UW- Madison surrounds me with like minded peers who push me to do my best in the classroom and in rowing.
What Wisconsin Rowing means to Josh:Â Being a member of the Wisconsin Men's Rowing program means being part of something bigger than myself. The UW Rowing program has a decorated history and pushes young men to become better athletes and better versions of themselves. Being on this team has surrounded me with like minded and mentally tough individuals who love the daily competition that comes with this sport.
