Tadley, in his first year with Wisconsin, works with the goalkeepers as a volunteer assistant coach.
Most recently, Tadley was part of the University of Memphis coaching staff during the 2021 season. In his stint at Memphis, he helped improve the Tigers RPI from 158 to 93 over the course of the season. He helped guide the team to a third-place, regular-season finish in the American Athletic Conference while mentoring freshman goalkeeper Colin Welsh to the All-Rookie Team. He was also integral in the mentorship of three other All-Conference players, Artur De Luca, Maxi Galizzi and Toby McCallum.
He arrived at Memphis after two seasons as an assistant coach at Lehigh, and prior to that he was the head coach at Albright College.
In his first season on the Lehigh staff, Tadley helped guide the 2019 Mountain Hawks to their third Patriot League Championship in program history and the team's fifth NCAA tournament appearance. In addition, Tadley assisted Lehigh to just its second-ever regular season crown and No. 1 overall seed in the conference tournament. The Mountain Hawks closed out the 2019 campaign with a 13-5-3 overall record, an unbeaten 6-0-3 record in the Patriot League and an undefeated home record of 7-0-3 at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
Working with the goalkeepers, Tadley helped senior Will Smith complete one of the seasons program history. Smith earned Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-Patriot League honors. Smith led the league with 10 shutouts and a .853 save percentage, which also led NCAA Division I soccer.
The Cherry Hill, New Jersey, native came to Lehigh from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he served as the men's soccer head coach for three seasons from 2016-18. Before he became head coach, he was the Lions women's assistant coach from 2012-15 and also the men's assistant in 2012-13 seasons.
Tadley was a four-year, letter-winning midfielder at Albright, playing in 57 games and totaling six goals including a pair of game-winners.
Tadley owns a bachelor's degree in business and elementary education from Albright in 2012 and earned a master’s degree in special education at Albright in 2017.
