High School: Named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region team as a senior ... received NSCAA first team all-state honors and first team all-conference in the Greater Metro Conference in 2011 ... Milwaukee Journal Sentinel second team all-area as a senior... played for Steve Lawrence at Marquette University High School in the Greater Metro Conference as a junior and senior ... named team captain as a senior, tallying 13 goals and 12 assists ... participated in the first-ever High School All-American game in Alabama (2011) ... named to the Greater Metro Conference second team as a junior

Personal: Son of Laura and Steve ... has one brother, Jake and one sister, Mackenzie ... intended major is engineering ... also competed in track, basketball and baseball.

Trask on Naughton: "Joe comes from Marquette High School in Milwaukee and helped the team to back-to-back High School championships during his career. Joe is a player who can play multiple roles and the staff feels that he has many of the qualities needed to play Big Ten soccer. Joe was identified at the summer camp program here in Madison and will be tough to keep off the field. His work ethic, competitiveness and athleticism will allow Joe to follow a long line of great players from Milwaukee who played for the Badgers."
