2014 Outdoor: At the NCAA West Preliminary (5/31), participated in the 4x400-meter relay that finished 17th with a time of 3:09.20 ... an a personal-best time of 47.12 in the 400 meters to place sixth at the Big Ten championships (5/16-5/18) and also helped the Badgers finish sixth in the 4x100 (40.66) and fifth in the 4x400 (3:09.65) ... finished second in the 100 in a personal-best time of 10.76 and placed second in the 200 meters with a personal-best time of 21.32 at the Wisconsin Open (5/10) ... at the Tom Botts Invitational (5/3), won both the 200 and 400 meters in personal-best times of 21.44 and 47.16, respectively, while also helping his team win the 4x400 relay in 3:13.94 ... making his outdoor season debut, competing unattached, finished second in the 200 meters in a wind-aided 21.44 at the UW-Platteville Invitational (4/12)

As a senior, Milwaukee City Conference champion in the 400 meters and triple jump ... finished seventh in the 400 meters and fifth in the 200 meters at the 2010 Wisconsin Division 1 state championships ... sectional champion in the 400 with a time of 50.34 and the triple jump with a jump of 45-7 3/4 ... sectional runner-up in the 200 meters with a time of 22:25

Why Wisconsin?
"I chose Wisconsin for the academic challenge. I also wanted to be close to home so I could see my parents often. I also wanted to take part in the Division I athletic challenge and experience so not only my kids, but people of my hometown of Milwaukee that never made it out or have only experienced the pain of Milwaukee, can have at least one good thing to look at from somebody they personally know that is bringing light to the city."
