Biography

High school: Played tennis for four years, made it to CIF quarterfinals in the most competitive league, awarded MVP... played soccer for one year, earning MVP and 'most improved'

Personal: Parents are Tonya Yake and Terry Yake... has one sister, Peyton... dad was an NHL player... majoring in neurobiology

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: Fell in love with the campus when I visited but I always knew the academics were well known to be challenging yet amazing. I have wanted to come here since I was in 8th grade.

What Wisconsin rowing means to Addison: When I first had the opportunity to sit in a boat with other girls I felt so connected to the other girls and we all drove each other to push harder and succeed and learn faster and it means the world to me to have that support network of not only friends but teammates that are there for you on and off the water to push you in rowing and in life.
